BTCUSD Price Targets: Market Structure
The BTCUSD Price Targets are back in focus as Bitcoin trades around $77,900, following a sharp intraday rebound from the $76,000 – $76,500 area. The M15 chart shows an aggressive recovery that has pushed price directly into the $77,900 – $78,200 region, making this the first important test for buyers.
Despite the rebound, the H1 and H4 charts still show a corrective structure, with price trading below downward-sloping short-term moving averages. On the Daily chart, however, Bitcoin remains within the broader consolidation that followed August’s strong rally, meaning the current weakness has not yet developed into a confirmed higher-timeframe bearish reversal.
Key Resistance Zone
Immediate resistance is located around $78,000 – $78,500, supported by the H1/H4 pivot area and the moving-average cluster overhead.
A confirmed breakout above this zone could expose:
- $79,000 – $79,500
- $80,000
- $81,000 – $82,000
The $80,000 region remains particularly important. Reclaiming it would strengthen the recovery and reduce the immediate bearish pressure visible on H1 and H4.
Key Support Zone
Initial support is located around $77,000 – $76,500, where buyers recently stepped in and triggered the latest rebound.
A breakdown below this area could expose:
- $76,000
- $75,000 – $75,500
- $73,500 – $74,000
A sustained H4 move below $75,000 would materially weaken the broader consolidation structure and increase the risk of a deeper correction.
BTCUSD Price Targets: Expectations
Bullish Scenario (Primary)
The sharp rebound from the latest intraday low shows renewed buying interest, but confirmation requires Bitcoin to establish itself above $78,000 – $78,500.
A successful breakout could trigger:
- A recovery toward $79,000 – $79,500
- A test of the psychological $80,000 level
- Further upside toward $81,000 – $82,000 if momentum strengthens
Holding above $77,000 would help preserve this recovery scenario.
Bearish Scenario (Alternative)
If BTCUSD fails to hold the rebound and is rejected from $78,000 – $78,500, sellers could regain short-term control.
This could lead to:
- A retest of $77,000 – $76,500
- Further pressure toward $76,000
- A deeper correction toward $75,000 – $75,500
A decisive break below $75,000 would shift attention toward the $73,500 – $74,000 support region.
Outlook
BTCUSD is attempting to recover after renewed selling pressure pushed Bitcoin toward the $76,000 area. The latest rebound is significant on the lower timeframes, but the market has now reached a key technical barrier around $78,000 – $78,500.
A confirmed move above $78,500 would improve the short-term outlook and open the way toward $79,500 and potentially $80,000. Failure to clear this resistance, however, could leave the rebound vulnerable and bring $76,500 – $77,000 back into focus.
For the next directional move, the most important BTCUSD Price Targets are therefore $78,500 and $80,000 on the upside, versus $76,500 and $75,000 on the downside.
