EURUSD Movements Today: Can the Euro Break Above 1.1270?

EURUSD | Technical Outlook

EURUSD Movements Today: Market Structure

The EURUSD Movements Today show the pair recovering toward 1.1244 after buyers stepped in from the 1.1170 – 1.1190 region. The rebound has improved short-term momentum, but the broader H4 and Daily structures remain bearish after the sharp decline from September highs.

On M15, price has formed a strong recovery and is now consolidating near recent highs around 1.1240 – 1.1250. H1 also shows improving momentum, with price moving back above the short-term moving averages. However, H4 remains within a clear sequence of lower highs and lower lows, making the current advance a recovery inside the broader downtrend unless buyers reclaim higher resistance.

Key Resistance Zone

Immediate resistance is located at 1.1250 – 1.1270, supported by:

  • Recent H1 consolidation and previous reaction highs
  • H4 dynamic resistance
  • A former support area that may now attract sellers

A confirmed breakout above this zone could open the way toward:

  • 1.1300
  • 1.1330 – 1.1350

A sustained move above 1.1350 would provide stronger evidence that the recovery is developing beyond a short-term corrective rebound.

Key Support Zone

Immediate support is located around 1.1220 – 1.1200, where the latest intraday advance gained momentum.

A break below this zone could expose:

  • 1.1170 – 1.1180
  • 1.1150

The 1.1170 – 1.1150 region remains particularly important because it surrounds the latest swing low. A sustained break below it would reinforce the broader bearish trend and expose the pair to additional downside.

EURUSD Movements Today: Expectations

Bullish Scenario

If EURUSD maintains support above 1.1200 – 1.1220, buyers could continue testing the 1.1250 – 1.1270 resistance zone.

A confirmed breakout above 1.1270 could trigger:

  • A move toward 1.1300
  • Extension toward 1.1330 – 1.1350

Such a move would strengthen the short-term recovery, although the broader trend would still require additional confirmation before shifting bullish.

Bearish Scenario (Primary)

If buyers fail to clear 1.1250 – 1.1270, the current recovery could lose momentum as the pair reconnects with the broader H4 and Daily downtrend.

This could result in:

  • A pullback toward 1.1220 – 1.1200
  • A deeper decline toward 1.1170 – 1.1150

A decisive break below 1.1170 would signal renewed bearish continuation and increase the risk of fresh lows.

Outlook

EURUSD remains caught between an improving short-term recovery and a clearly bearish higher-timeframe trend. The rebound toward 1.1244 has strengthened intraday momentum, but buyers are now approaching an important resistance area.

The 1.1250 – 1.1270 zone is likely to determine the next phase. A breakout could extend the recovery toward 1.1300 and 1.1350, while rejection from this area may return attention to 1.1200 and ultimately 1.1170 – 1.1150.
