EURUSD Technical Levels: Market Structure
The EURUSD Technical Levels are currently in focus as the pair trades around 1.1600, attempting to recover after a sharp bearish move from the 1.1640 – 1.1650 region. The selloff pushed price toward 1.1575 – 1.1580, where buyers stepped in and triggered a modest rebound.
On the higher timeframes, the broader recovery from the July lows remains visible, but recent price action shows weakening bullish momentum. The H4 chart has shifted into a short-term bearish correction, while H1 continues to trade below its major moving averages.
The rebound toward 1.1600 therefore represents an important test. Buyers need to reclaim nearby resistance to strengthen the recovery, while rejection could put the recent lows back under pressure.
Key Resistance Zone
Immediate resistance is located at 1.1600 – 1.1610, supported by:
- Psychological resistance around 1.1600
- Recent H1/H4 breakdown area
- Descending H1 and H4 moving averages
A breakout above this zone could lead to:
- 1.1625
- 1.1640 – 1.1650 (next major resistance zone)
A sustained move above 1.1650 would improve the short-term outlook and could reopen the path toward 1.1680 – 1.1700.
Key Support Zone
Immediate support is seen at 1.1580 – 1.1570, where buyers recently absorbed selling pressure.
A breakdown below this zone would expose:
- 1.1550
- 1.1510 – 1.1500 (stronger higher-timeframe support)
A sustained move below 1.1500 would significantly weaken the broader recovery and increase the risk of a deeper bearish extension.
EURUSD Technical Levels: Expectations
Bullish Scenario
If EURUSD holds above 1.1570 – 1.1580 and establishes itself above 1.1600 – 1.1610, buyers could gain stronger short-term control.
A confirmed breakout could trigger:
- A move toward 1.1625
- Extension toward 1.1640 – 1.1650
Breaking 1.1650 would provide stronger confirmation that the recent selloff is developing into a corrective pullback rather than a broader bearish reversal.
Bearish Scenario (Primary)
Failure to establish above 1.1600 – 1.1610 could allow sellers to regain control, particularly while price remains below the declining H1/H4 moving averages.
This could result in:
- A retest of 1.1580 – 1.1570
- Further downside toward 1.1550
- Extension toward 1.1510 – 1.1500 if selling accelerates
A confirmed break below 1.1570 would strengthen the short-term bearish scenario.
Outlook
EURUSD is attempting to stabilize after a strong selloff, but the short-term technical picture remains cautious. The 1.1600 – 1.1610 area is now the key pivot separating a stronger recovery from renewed downside pressure.
The broader Daily recovery has not been completely invalidated, but H4 and H1 momentum currently favors sellers. A breakout above 1.1650 would materially improve the outlook, while a break below 1.1570 could expose 1.1550 and eventually 1.1500.
